Which Sjeezz® lens do I need?

Choose the right tint for perfect visibility in any weather.

Choosing the right lens isn't just a matter of style, but above all, safety and comfort. The lens color determines how much light is transmitted and how much depth you see on the slopes.

We use the international category system (Cat. 0 to 4) to help you find the perfect match.

Quick overview

Extensive Explanation per Category

Category 1: The "Bad Weather" Rescuer

Suitable for: Snowfall, dense fog and extremely cloudy days.

When the sky clouds over and you can't see a thing, you need this lens. Category 1 lenses are often yellow or orange. They let in a lot of light and significantly increase contrast, so you can see the bumps in the snow again.

  • Tip: Indispensable as a "spare" lens in your bag for when the weather changes.

Category 2: The All-Rounder

Suitable for: Changeable weather, light cloud and filter sun.

Not sure what the weather will be like? Then this is the safest choice. This lens isn't too dark if a cloud obscures the sun, but it filters enough light to prevent glare.

Category 3: The Sunny Favorite (Bestseller)

Suitable for: Clear, sunny days and blue skies.

This is the lens you see in the photo (like our Gold/Yellow models). It blocks bright sunlight and snow glare, keeping your eyes calm and fatigue-free. Ideal for those typical "Kaiserwetter" days.

Category 4: Extreme Conditions

Suitable for: Glaciers and high mountains.

These lenses are very dark and only intended for extremely bright light at high altitudes.

  • Please note: Not suitable for driving.
