Your privacy is very important to Sjeezz. We therefore comply with privacy legislation. This means your data is safe with us and we use it responsibly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with information we collect about you at the sjeezz.com webshop.

2. What data do we collect?

When you place an order with us or visit our website, we process various data.

When ordering:

• Name and address details: First and last name, address, postal code and city (for delivery).

• Contact details: Email address and telephone number (to keep you informed about the order).

Payment information : We see if a payment is successful, but we don't store credit card numbers or full bank details ourselves. This is done securely through Mollie.

• IP address: Your IP address is automatically processed when you place an order (including for fraud prevention).

When visiting the website:

• Information about your activities on our website (which pages you visit).

• Internet browser and device type.

3. Why do we need this information?

We process your data for the following purposes:

1. Processing your order: To ensure your package is delivered properly in the Netherlands or Belgium and to keep you informed of its status.

2. Payments: To process payments securely via our payment partner Mollie.

3. Customer service: If you email or call us with a question, we use your information to help you quickly.

4. Legal obligation: The Tax Authorities oblige us to keep administration with invoice data for 7 years.

5. Newsletter (Optional): We'll only use your email address to send you offers if you've explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the newsletter.

4. Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data to third parties. We do collaborate with partners necessary to provide our services. We have agreements in place with these parties to protect your privacy.

Payment provider: We use Mollie to process payments (iDEAL, Bancontact, etc.). Mollie receives your name and payment information.

• Shipping partners: To deliver your package, we pass on your address details to carriers such as PostNL and DHL.

• Webshop software & Hosting: Our webshop runs on Shopify . They host our data.

• Accountant: For our administration, our accountant has access to invoices.

5. Security

We take the following measures to protect your personal data:

• The website uses a secure connection (SSL/TLS), recognizable by the lock in the address bar.

• We make regular backups to prevent data loss.

• Access to personal data is limited to employees who need this data for their work.

6. Retention periods

We do not store your data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was received.

• Order details: We are legally obliged to keep our administration (invoices with your details) for 7 years for the tax authorities.

• Customer service: We retain emails and correspondence for as long as necessary to fully handle your question or complaint.

7. Cookies

Sjeezz uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website.

• Functional cookies: Ensure that the website works properly (e.g. that your shopping cart is remembered).

• Analytical cookies: We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our store so we can improve it. This data is anonymized as much as possible.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data or to object to the processing of your personal data by Sjeezz.

If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability or if you have any other questions/comments about data processing, please send a detailed request to Sjeezzskiwear@gmail.com .

To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we may ask you to include a copy of your ID (please black out your passport photo and citizen service number to protect your privacy). We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

9. Dutch Data Protection Authority

We're happy to help if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data. If we're still unable to resolve the issue together, you also have the right, under privacy legislation, to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
